“Oregon is showing me a lot of interest,” said California defensive end Marcus Howard. “I’ve talked with (linebackers/recruiting coordinator) coach Don Pellum and he says they like how I play d-end and they plan on coming to one of my games this year.” Would Howard commit if the Ducks offer? “Probably not right away. I’d still like to wait and take a few visits first. But I really like Oregon.”
